Earlier this week, I was sitting with a pastor friend of mine who was telling me about a trip he took to India a few years ago.
Seeing the poverty and need of the people there fill his heart with compassion and a desire to make a greater effort to support missions through the church he pastors. But also, he had the opportunity to see ritual Muslim sacrifices for one of their holiday celebrations, and it forever changed his understanding of the Old Testament sacrificial system and the magnitude of what Christ has done for us.
We’ve been sharing all kinds of ways that you can pray and advocate and give to help what our workers are doing in India, and if that is how the Lord is leading you to be a part of Eurasia Community’s efforts in India, we really appreciate all you do.
But for those of you who are able to do so, there is no substitute for physically going to Eurasia and getting to see and experience for yourself what we are doing to reach the lost in India.
This is a great time to consider going to India, because Live Dead India has just begun an internship program this month. Right now, 14 young adults from all over the US are participating in a 7-week internship where they receive training and travel to various locations in India to work alongside our teams in both urban and rural settings.
This training and exposure is designed to give interns a full understanding of the complexities of reaching India’s many unreached people groups, and practical experience in relationship-based outreach through creative social and business platforms. Our interns are about halfway done with their time in India, and already they are telling us this has been the adventure of a lifetime. Some are already planning their return for a long term assignment.

The internship dates for 2018 are as follows:
- Spring Internship: March 7-28 (3 weeks in one area)
- Summer Internship: June 8 – July 20 (7 weeks in 2 areas). Application deadline Feb 2, 2018
- Fall Internship: October 3-24 (3 weeks in one area). Application deadline July 6, 2018
