Here at Eurasia Community, we’re pretty passionate about the fact that every single person can be a part of our community, even if you’re not called by God to physically go to Eurasia and preach the gospel to the lost.
We challenge you on a regular basis to pray for and give to the various works we support throughout the Eurasia region. But we haven’t talked much about another very cool way you can be a part of our community: Eurasia Coffee & Tea.
According to their website, “Eurasia Coffee & Tea was founded in 2010 to bring awareness and give back to the many social justice causes/non-profit organizations we work with in Eurasia. To serve direct trade, ethically sourced coffee with a purpose.”
Most adults that I know drink coffee. But what not as many people know is that coffee, in many parts of the world, is a product whose production chain actually keeps people in poverty. But ethically sourced coffee, like what Eurasia Coffee & Tea sells, exists to change that. They work to make sure their coffee comes from places where people are not enslaved or working as indentured servants. Buying coffee from somewhere like Eurasia Coffee & Tea can actually help to lift people out of poverty.
If you’re a coffee (or tea!) drinker, one easy way you can be a part of Eurasia Community is to buy your tea and coffee from the Eurasia Coffee & Tea shop. If you’re in the Southwest Missouri area, you can visit our cafe on Commercial Street in Springfield, and if you’re not you can order any products online. In addition to beverages, Eurasia Coffee & Tea also offers a host of cool handmade goods that help support various important causes throughout Eurasia.
We hope you’ll check out all the products Eurasia Coffee & Tea has to offer, and as always, thanks for being a part of this community. We couldn’t do this without you.
