We aren’t shy about asking for workers here at the Eurasia Community. The truth is, people in Eurasia need Jesus, and they need people to go there and tell them about him.
Like Paul said, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14)
But when you see our calls for workers, you may be thinking that we are looking for one certain type of person: someone to preach to them, namely a preacher with a background of serving in the church. But Jesus called his disciples from all different professions and we are looking for all different kinds of people to come as workers in Eurasia, too. (Although if you’re a preacher, we need those, too. See a list of all the opportunities here.)
Church planting teams in Nepal need people with all different sorts of skills, from engineering, teaching, contracting, writing, social media, accounting, medicine, and agriculture, to name a few. Whatever your background, chances are, there’s a place for you here.
And if you’re looking for a really great way to touch the lives of young women in Bangladesh, make sure you read this post about the work Dianne is doing at Uttam’s place. Please email us if you’re interested in helping with the important work they’re doing.
We really hope you will prayerfully consider coming to Eurasia as part of one of our short-term teams. Thanks so much for being a part of the Eurasia Community!
