How We’re Influencing the Next Generation in Bangladesh

We’ve shared with you a little bit earlier in the month about the Assemblies of God Bible College in Bangladesh.

Over the past two decades this school has been vital in training up young men and women who have been called by God to do kingdom work. To affect the next generation in Bangladesh, we need people who are willing to plant churches.

Many of those people do not come from the US, but are nationals who have been raised up to reach their own people. But before they can go out and do the work to which God has called them, they need training.

This is where the Bible school comes in.

We are praying for God to raise up even more Bangladeshi teachers, but we can also you use foreign teachers who are currently serving in preaching or teaching roles, or retired pastors and preachers who have time to give.

We are excited about the future of the church in Bangladesh.

The need for teachers simply indicates that more people are coming to know Jesus.

That’s also why the Bible school hosts a semi-annual Discipleship Training Institute that offers classes about salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit and the call of God to unsaved young people. Each time the classes are hosted, over a hundred young people who do not yet know Jesus are invited to attend at the recommendation of local pastors.

In this setting, many young people have been saved, filled, and called into full-time ministry.

It’s a pivotal time, but with training, we believe that these young people could be the beginning of a massive move of God in the nation of Bangladesh.

Please join with us in praying for God to raise up teachers for these new disciples, and if you’re interested in coming to Bangladesh to help train them, please let us know.

We are so glad that you’re a part of this community. We really couldn’t do this without you.
