“He was struggling for survival in an impoverished slum of Dhaka in Southern Asia. His country is 90% Muslin, and he came from a Muslim family”.

That is what life looked like for Abhayankar prior to last year’s Christmas party that was hosted by an organization called Aji Se Din. This Christmas party provided hope for Abhayankar through the means of food for the community, gifts, clothing, Scripture books, and many other items.

Abhayankar was living in a single room with his mother and nine other families. That is ten families in total sharing one room, one kitchen, and one bathroom.

It could be easy, in a circumstance like that, to lose grasp of any hope. Thankfully, that was not the case in this story. At the Christmas party, Abhanyankar was able to listen to the story of Jesus for the first time. He began attending a children’s church located in the slums, and shortly after he decided to follow Jesus with his entire life.

Aji Se Din is planning to host another Christmas party for this year! With that, they desire to do more than ever before. Their goal is to expand to 10 different districts around the area and have the ability to reach 5,000 children who are in need.

It takes just $3 per child to provide the party- presents, food, and a Scripture book they can take home and learn more about Jesus. Our prayer is that you would partner with the impactful Kingdom work that is being done by donating $3, $10, $100, $500, or any value you believe the Lord is leading you toward. Every dollar provided will have a direct correlation to these families getting to hear the Gospel for the first time.

We ask that you walk alongside us in prayer as you also consider being a financial partner in this Christmas party. Abhayankar was able to learn about who Jesus was, even when the majority of his community does not believe in Jesus. His life is now radically changed through the giving of others last year. With his story being a reminder of God’s faithfulness, we are eager to see what He has prepared for this Christmas.
