One of the monthly features on the Eurasia Community Blog is about our Financial Partnership Development program, led by Jenn Fortner. In FPD, missionary associates receive small group training and coaching as they invite individuals and churches to partner with them financially in the work God has called to in Eurasia.
There are six Missionary Associates currently raising funds to go to various countries within Southern Asia, such as Bangledesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. All six of these Missionary Associates are currently asking churches and friends and family to support the work they will be doing on the field, and come alongside them in monthly financial partnership.
One of Missionary Associates trying to get to Southern Asia is Brad. Brad is currently working as accountant in his small Midwestern hometown, but he knows that God’s long-term plan for his life is to be a missionary to Nepal. When he’s not working at his full-time job, Brad travels to churches speaking about the work he will be doing in Nepal. Brad is also connecting with his friends and family as much as possible, meeting with them face-to-face and asking them to come alongside him as financial supporters. Once Brad raises up his support team, he will be joining a team in Nepal who are working among both Hindu and Buddhist communities.
Brad has currently raised 20% of his monthly budget, but he still needs around $2,600 in monthly support to be fully funded so that he can join the team on the ground in Nepal.
