Pray Today for the Ancient Lands of the Arab World

The following information and prayer points come directly from the field in the Arab World this month.  If you would like to receive real-time information of needs and answers to prayer from one of our teams in the Arab World, with many more details than we are able to share here publicly on our blog, we invite you to looking into starting a Pray Band

The ancient lands of the Arab World are some of the most unreached nations in the world. The seventeen countries spanning across North Africa and the Middle East have been overwhelmingly Islamic for centuries. Though these countries are often viewed as a single block of culture, each nation is unique in its history and is home to dozens of distinctive people groups. Each people group represents specific needs and requires believes who will commit to living the gospel fully among them – regardless of the cost.

Here’s how you can pray for Arab peoples and those who work among to bring the Gospel to Arab people:

  • Pray for Workers to encounter those who are hungry for the Gospel

  • Pray for seekers who have heard the Truth to take the next step toward faith in Christ.  Pray that they will sense an urgency to act on what they have heard

  • Pray for national believers to have the desire and courage to gather with other local believers.  Pray for a supernatural love and trust between them, as well as for God to raise up leaders from among them.

  • Pray for teams in transition.  Many will be leaving the training teams and moving on to the next stage.  This is a big transition for those who stay behind on the team and those who go onto what’s next–pray for the Spirit to lead, and for a special grace over the kids that are in this phase of closure and new beginnings

  • Pray for families currently itinerating to go or return to the field.  Pray not only for financial provision, but that God would raise up intercessors!  Please ask that those itinerating would be effective communicators of God’s heart, mobilizing others to pray, give, and go!

Thanks so much for your prayers, and for being a part of this community. We really couldn’t do this without you.
