There is something very special about a sunrise in these mountains.  As we are leaving behind the cold of winter (most days anyway!), the spring weather brings warmer temperature, longer days, and beautiful sunrises.  My husband and I are sometimes up to see this daily miracle as we get ready to go to our Tibetan language class at the local school here.  As the newest members of the team, we are excited to have the opportunity, and challenge, to take on this new language.  So as we wake up to greet the sunrise (sometimes a difficulty for this night owl), we thank God for the beauty of His creation.  And it’s in the quiet of these mornings that I am reminded of one of my favorite passages of Scripture.
It’s found in Lamentations 3:22-23:

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” 

We are believing in new things for the team here in India.  God has been faithful and compassionate over the last few months of transition; and we believe He will continue to show us that every morning brings new opportunities for the Tibetan people here in our little mountain town.  Looking forward to sharing this journey with you as our prayer partners!  As a vital part of this team, we encourage you to pray with us for these divine appointments and thank you for your continued faithfulness.

Pray for the new season for the Tibetan Tea House.  First, pray for our new staff that they will learn and find success in their new roles.  Second, pray that God brings in the community to help our business grow.
