Last week, I shared how I was going to sign up for the Bhutan Prayer challenge, one of the many challenges offered by Pray 4 Eurasia.
I am so glad I did.
When I signed up, I didn’t really know anything about this small island nation, except that it was mostly Bhuddist.
But now, I’m getting daily prayer suggestions, right in my inbox, so that I’ll know how better to intercede for people who need the transformative power of Christ Jesus, and those who are trying to reach them with the gospel.
Here are just a few of the prayer suggestions I’ve received in the last several days:
- Pray that the Holy Spirit will weed out bad doctrine in the churches of Bhutan and lead His people into truth.
- Pray for Bhutanese believers to be bold and wise – even in the face of persecution – and to share the Good News of Jesus without fear.
- Pray for Bhutanese who find Christ in other countries to return to Bhutan to share Jesus with others.
- Pray that the demons causing fear in Bhutan would be bound and the Holy Spirit would release the Spirit of adoption that leads to sonship.
These simple emails are helping me pray targeted, specific prayers, for the nation of Bhutan and those who live there. And since I get a new email each day, it’s easier to remember to set aside time that day for prayer.
It’s not too late for you to join me in praying for Bhutan. In fact, you can sign up for any one of our prayer challenges at any time. You can find all the information you need to get started right here.
Thanks so much for praying with us for Eurasia, and thanks, as always, for being a part of this community. We couldn’t do this without you.
