In the Russia/Belarus area, the need for Jesus is great.
We’ve recently received some news from our teams in the area, and there are three groups of people who are really on their hearts right now.
First, would you join us in praying an unreached people group comprised of Muslims who have yet to turn to Jesus for salvation?
Right now there is not a single known believer among this people group, but we are praying that this year, someone from this group will turn to Jesus. Our team is praying specifically that a key leader, someone who will be a person of peace, will come to know Jesus from within this unreached group of people.
Secondly, there is another people group, among whom there are a small number of believers, but no church presence.
We are praying that God will raise up a house church for these believers. A healthy indigenous church has always been an important part of seeing exponential church growth in unreached areas.
Let’s pray for God to raise up leaders who will help plant a church that can grow and thrive among these people.
And finally, there is a large gypsy presence in the Russia/Belarus area.
As they encounter Jesus, they are hungry for their family to know about Him, too. Every week one of them asks our team members to come and preach in gypsy villages where their family members live.
Our teams aren’t physically able to go everywhere there are open doors.
Please pray for quick spiritual growth among new gypsy believers, that they will take responsibility to go to these places themselves and preach the gospel. Empowering new believers to lead others to Christ and disciple them is the key to seeing a movement of multiplying disciples.
Thanks so much for your prayers, and for being a part of this community. We really couldn’t do this without you.
