World Missions Summit 4 brought more than 6,000 college and university students together to worship, be exposed to international missions, interact with missionaries, and pray for the nations. The conference, hosted every four years by campus ministry, Chi Alpha, is focused on mobilizing students to finish the Great Commission. One Eurasia worker said, “There are 6,000 unreached people groups and more than 6,000 in attendance tonight. We can reach the world for Christ in one generation!”
The unique atmosphere of TWMS blends experienced missionaries with eager students to face the realities of life overseas and to become inspired to take their gifts, talents, and abilities to the far ends of the earth. The Eurasia Community hosted an exhibit that featured various areas of the region and the need to plant churches. The site featured a prayer room inside a yurt (a nomadic house from Central Eurasia), a virtual reality ride through the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a henna parlor. Missionaries from across Eurasia met with thousands of students in the exhibit to share about the nations they serve.
More than 2,000 students committed to giving a year of their life to serve the unreached. The Eurasia Community welcomes you in our quest to see a church planting movement among every people group in Eurasia.
